  • How many weddings do you do at one time?
  • We host only one wedding at a time per venue.
  • Can I have my ceremony at the Aquarium?
  • The facility has many different ceremony locations. Outdoor locations include the Riverside Pavilion, our waterside Boardwalk, the Koi Pond area and within our Sea Lion Coliseum. Indoor locations include the beautiful marble Foyer within the Sea Star Ballroom, the Riverfront Room that allows for a chapel-like setting, our Main Aquarium locations including near our waterfall backdrop, by our sting ray habitat, or the main Coliseum Room.  For the ultimate adventurer brides and grooms can say I do within our 120,000-gallon shark habitat with a Shark Dive ceremony!
  • What other types of events do you host?
  • We have hosted every imaginable type of event. From fundraisers, political events, proms, televised weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and much more!
  • Are there any decorating restrictions?
  • The Aquarium does not allow any balloons inside the Aquarium for the safety of our animals.
  • What is the deposit and when is the remainder due?
  • $1,500 is the required deposit to hold the date. You are then put on a payment schedule that works within your budget. Final payment is due 14 days prior to the event.
  • What is the length of the facility rental? Is there an overtime fee?
  • A wedding is usually a 30-minute ceremony, a one-hour cocktail hour, and a four-hour reception. Extra time is always available upon request for an additional fee.
  • Can I have a DJ or a band perform at my wedding?
  • Yes. You can have a DJ or a band.
  • Is there a dance floor?
  • Yes
  • Is a full bar available?
  • Yes, with top shelf liquors at no additional cost.  Premium and Signature bar packages are available options as well.
  • Is there adequate parking space or valets?
  • Yes. Valet parking is available for every event and offered at no additional charge for every wedding.  
  • Is there staff provided, such as on-site maître d’, waiters, and bartenders?
  • Yes
  • Are there picturesque locations for photo opportunities; can we arrive early to take pictures?
  • Yes, of course. Pictures taken at our unique facility are like no other wedding pictures you have ever seen – there are many beautiful areas both inside and outside to capture beautiful photos.
  • Do you have a bridal suite?
  • Yes, one for the Sea Star Ballroom as well as one for the Aquarium venue.
  • Do you offer wedding packages?
  • We are able to not only custom design each once-in-a-lifetime affair, but we also strive to create the most spectacular weddings at a price that fits your individual budget.
  • Is there a fee for a ceremony?
  • Yes, there is a fee for the ceremony set up and time.
  • Is the catering done on-site or do you use an outside caterer?
  • All catering is prepared on-site by our Executive Chef, Sean Fountaine.
  • How many guests can the Aquarium hold?
  • We can accommodate up to 600 guests.
  • Do I have to have my ceremony there to use the facility for a reception?
  • No, we can coordinate a beautiful cocktail hour and reception if you choose to have your ceremony at a different location.
